We are currently working in the Basian system and the surrounding regions. Much of our activity revolves around mining and trading in these areas. We are also interested in supporting economic development within the region. However, our main priorities are to develop good relationships with other players, and to have some fun.
We strive to maintain peaceful relations with all players and factions. If you, or a member of your faction, has been attacked by one of our members, then please contact UpsizeThis.
We strongly believe in the value of loyalty. As such, we endeavour to maintain a policy of single faction membership. Exceptions for external faction membership might be permitted for diplomatic purposes only, and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our leadership.

The faction operates in a partially nomadic fashion, with a preference of using pre-existing public facilities when possible. However, the Alliance does have the following outposts.
- Sunrise Depot - Faction only starbase.
- Brasstown Ships - A shipyard paying homage to the original facility of the same name.

- 7867.85 CE: Founded by Kendar Nah. It was a loose-knit group of miners and traders who banded together at times to assist one another. They had friendly relations with the Altian Imperial Alliance, the United Solian Socialist Republic, and the Uaros Order of Dragoons.
- 7953.21 CE: The original members took a vote to disband, went their separate ways, and melted into the galactic 'background' to pursue various interests.
- 13942.96 CE: Lord Sirius reincorporates the alliance, and is currently searching for new members, as well as trying to track down any holdovers from the old group.
- 13988.53 CE: The faction inherits a scrapyard from a dying captain.
- 21854.74 CE: Cpt. UpsizeThis reincorporates the alliance, thus beginning the third era the Sunrise Mining Alliance.
- 22591.85 CE: The historical shipyard Brasstown Ships was re-created.

- Knight: Duckett - Retired in 14990.79 CE.
- Knight: Grayson - Head asteroid scout, retired in 15077.27 CE.

The original group back in the 7000's CE had a rotating Chairman, several Consuls, and a few up-and-coming Rangers. At the time of disbanding, the members were:

- Consul: Zagnut
