History
He began his career in a V2 Freighter. Having shown himself useful and showing some good promise, he was awarded a Light Miner. This change to mining started a career. Guided by Nukeboy, he quickly advanced and became an important part of the SFA mining team. When Nukeboy decided to step down from his position, Cpt. Ozzmosis and Cpt. Sariel took on the task together. Not 100 CE later, Ozzmosis retired. Around 12300 CE, Sariel stepped into the role of Head of Mining by himself.
The development of planet governments into a more prosperous environment led Sariel into a new field in 12700 CE. Trading went well, but in the first election he entered, Sariel was upable to secure enough support.
Changes in the composition and frequency of asteroids made leading mining difficult without a hands on touch, so Sariel started to spend some time out in the expanses.
During the war with Source, the first war in SFA history, Sariel served as both an efficient soldier and a diplomat. After the war, he assisted in getting things running.
In 13120 CE, Khelek, Leader of the SFA, decided to leave due to complications. When a couple other members decided to follow, Sariel took command of the SFA in order to maintain order and keep faction members assured that the SFA would maintain it's position in the galaxy. He has also taken on the shipbuilding for SFA from Khelek.
In 13394.28 CE, Sariel succeeded in an election at Uran, taking the planet from a worthy opponent: Tor, Grand Master of the Order of the Samurai. This victory consolidated all Volian planets under SFA rule. This leadership would last 1 term, in which Sariel maintained a respectable working relationship with the previous leader. Tor won the next election by a fairly large margin due to Sariel's shipbuilding obligations keeping him away from the planet. Realizing this reasoning, Sariel resigned himself to shipbuilding, leaving Uran in capable and deserving hands.
