As the heading implies, these are facts and tips that may become important at certain times in the game or at all times. As you contribute to this page please let everyone know who to pat on the back. :)
1. Newbie protection only applies to V2 starter ships so dock your loaned ships when you're not using them (including being offline). Pirates will attack and destroy unprotected ships when least expected.

2. Even docks may not be safe. Dock owners can seize your ships without warning leaving you out in cold space floating in your Escape Pod.

3. Donating to Chosen Space should be done knowing that whatever points you get could be wasted the same day you spend them for a ship as the result of an attack or theft. Thievery and attacks are not punished as they are part of the game. Points will not be refunded.

4. Some factions such as the Galactic News Fleet may offer alternate ways to earn income other than that which is normally provided by the game. Writing news articles or moving loaned outposts from one system or another are examples of this.

5. If the faction you belong to is at war with another faction, ask for a list of players to watch out for from your faction's leaders. Also go to edit on your contacts page to set beacons so that allies might be able to come defend your ship when it is attacked.
