Grid

A Grid is a square shaped part of a Sector. There are 400 Grids in a Sector.

A Grid is a basic navigation point that you can refer to and anyone will understand. For example if you say that you are in a certain System, Sector 1, Grid 1, everyone will know that you can be found in the top left square of the top left Sector of that System.

While in a Grid you can see the whole Sector and any an all Outposts, Planets and Asteroids. However, you can only see the ships (or Spacecraft) that share the same Grid as you.
