Galaxy

From Chosen Space V2 Wiki

Separates the many systems into larger groups, mainly for classifcations. Derived from the greek root γαλαξίας, meaning "Milky". Contains dark matter, a wide variety of gasses, and dust from exploded star and star clusters. The galaxy in CS hasn't been recorded, but some say it has at least 15,000 parsecs.

In 9000 CE the Galaxy contained 36 accessible Systems, 16 of which were mapped and inhabited by human colonists.
