Far Reaches Mining Guild was founded in the Volian System in 7969.31 CE on the planet Adari by Jasper Londo.
It is primarily a mining faction, with planned growth into areas such as trade and transport.

7969.31 CE: Faction founded on the planet Adari by Jasper Londo.

7991.25 CE: Jasper Londo is elected ruler of Adari, giving the faction new purpose and new responsibility, of a much higher order. During this time, the guild spends its time ensuring that the planetary populace is kept in needed supplies, forging friendships and alliances (see below) throughout the Volian System, and preparing for the day when it may need to fight off opportunists or aggressors.

8424.70 CE: Benvolio, Admiral of the Thunder Bay Trading Fleet accepts Jasper Londo's invitation to merge factions. This opens up a busy and profitable trade corridor between the Volian and Desian systems, and brings the Desian world of Inibi under FRMG's protection.

8571.83 CE: Jasper Londo completes a deal to relocate his faction's headquarters to Inibi in the Desian System, so the Sith Imperial Order can expand on Adari.

8725.84 CE: Benvolio leaves the Galaxy, and rulership of Inibi behind.

9581.23 CE: The people of Darnak elect Jasper Londo President. The faction moves the Genian headquarters to the capital city soon after.

9592-9611 CE: While the rest of the Sixteen Systems were mining a Zirconium Expanse Asteroid at System 16: 84/17, the members of Far Reaches were ripping down an undiscovered Tetrium asteroid in the Casian System. Wing Commander Newcastle stumbled upon it at 73/164 during a random jump, when he was racing from Darnak to the aforementioned 'zirc roid'. The faction harvested and refined the entire asteroid, doling out small portions to allied factions.

10025.20 CE: A public Starbase financed by the faction was completed. Sunrise Station now provides a place for the faction to store and sell needed goods.

10186.42 CE: Shooting Star Federation agrees to merge with the faction.

[edit] Hierarchy

The guild is headed by the Commander. Each branch of the faction has a specific area of interest (trade, exploration, mining, etc...), and is led by a Wing Commander. Rangers are mid-level members who answer to the Wing Commanders. Further titles will be voted upon by the membership as the faction grows. Wing Commanders and above have dual responsibilities in both Far Reaches and the Planetary Government of the faction's current homeworld.

Far Reaches Mining Guild take our alliances very seriously. If they need us, we are there.
However, if any of our allies start wars or attack others for no reason, all ties will be severed.

    • Fairwind - Capital of Darnak, and location of the faction's main headquarters.

    • Waziir - Location of both Londo's Presidential Palace, and faction headquarters when FRMG was based on Adari.

  • Lapsus - Berenyi was the first ruler of Lapsus, from 7991.25 CE - 8101.68 CE
  • Ferox - Jiara was Majestrix of Ferox from 9006.00 - 9712.03 CE.
