Demon class planets are characterised by extreme surface temperatures (227 C+) and toxic atmospheres, due to these conditions they are uninhabitable and rarely have confirmed indigenous life, study of possible crystalline and liquid metal life is on going but difficult due to these planets being so inhospitable.
