To craft an item, you simply need to bring the needed resources to a manufactory and store them (move them from your ship to the manufactory). If you have enough of the needed materials, you should see a number in the "Produce" box below the product you wish to create. This is the amount of product you have the materials for. Remember to look at the X factor before pushing the button, creating more than you need will result in wasted materials. Example; as you can see Electronics require 1 X Gold Bullion and 1 X Silicon which produces 2 X Electrioncs. So by putting 1 in the "Produce" box, you get 2 Electrioncs.

Remember to put the crafted items into your hold, as that can result in a huge waste of turns.
