Aries begun life as a trader in the Raxian system. Hailing from Kaas, his first action was to accept an invitation from Cpt Beefheart to join the SMF. After many successful days of trading Aries was promoted to Lieutenant and was offered a loan to buy a Heavy Miner. Once he had repaid his loans he was promoted to Commander and was soon to become the leading recruiter for the SMF. Shortly after this he was given a temporary promotion to Vice Admiral while his then-Admiral Beefheart ran in elections.
After spending a month as a miner, Aries upgraded again, this time to a Heavy Freighter. This was to prove useful when he took over leadership of the SMF. Aries remained leader of the SMF until the end of V1.
In V2, Aries founded the Soror Council (now the North Star Alliance), and still resides as the Grand Master. It is also possible that he was the first millionaire in V2, although he is waiting for someone to dispute this claim.
[edit] Philosophy
During his time as admiral of the SMF in V1, Aries has developed a keen sense of what his members need. Chief among these needs, is the need to have a purely supportive faction that does not control the way it's members play the game. Aries does not give orders to his members in order to realise this aim.
Through mutual cooperation any aim can be achieved.
[edit] Recruiting
For nearly 6000CE Aries has been an active recruiter for his factions. His experience in the field of recruiting has gained many highly sucessful members, and has earned the respect of nearly all of his recruits. While his standards are high, he acknowledges that new players will need help to realise these standards, help that he freely gives at personal expense.
[edit] About the Person
In real life, the player behind Aries is a scientist (an astrophysicist in fact :D ), giving him a solid foundation in logic and deduction. He also brings his personal skills of debating and team leadership to the NSA. Aside this his character is eccentric, caring to his members, friendly to those he respects, cold and callous to those that have earned his displeasure.
